Bobby Weir Memorial Pin

I’ve really struggled to grasp Bobby being gone. Especially with it being summer, the time of year I saw him most. I wanted to make something I could give away that people could remember him by, so I designed this pin that I will be handing out over the next few weeks.

I wanted these pins to be just exactly perfect and spent a ton of times combining elements to bring this together. The wings off of a design from a vintage Bobby T, a portion of the color palette from his album “Ace”, and the wolves that made their way into his iconography in his later years.

all proceeds will be recycled back into either giving these away or funding a really cool public art tribute project I will be conducting for Bobby’s birthday (Oct. 16)

shipping prices have gotten out of hand, I hate charging $6 for shipping but this is the average number that I am charged. 

To be transparent, the pins cost me $1200 so I have set aside a few hundred of the original allotment of 2000 pins to sell here. The rest I will give away
