Grateful Knicks Championship T

My design commemorating the Knicks’ legendary finals run, which has brought so much joy to the city. 

Jumbo screen print design. I recommend sizing up, this design is meant to be worn big.

The intersection of The Grateful Dead and sports is ever prevalent. The Dead and the Knicks were particularly connected as the Dead played 52 shows at Madison Square Garden from 1979-1994 and played more shows in NYC than any city outside of San Francisco. 

I wanted to connect the early 70’s success of the Knicks to the Grateful Dead. The Knicks won championships in 1970 and 1973 which were excellent years for the Dead as well. It just so happened that the Knicks’ 6/13/2026 championship win falls on the same date as the Dead’s 6/13/1970 show at Honolulu Civic Auditorium. An era when the band were becoming champions in their own right.

A note on tshirt styles: 

I try my best to offer options since a lot of people prefer certain blanks. Comfort colors blanks are the tried and true soft T. Shaka wear has more of an oversized street wear fit and are the heaviest of the three options, but they do not offer a cream color. The American apparel blanks are a good in between, but just as soft as a comfort colors tshirt. 

Also, The screen printing area is not large enough on small tshirts for this design.
